Heute starten die ersten löschung der Aufnahmen nach der neuen Regeln ab dem 01.10.2023
Neue Möglichkeit zur Sicherung der Aufnahmen
- Spieler haben ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, OneDrive als Standardspeicherort festzulegen.
Somit werden Xbox-Aufnahmen automatisch in den Cloud-Speicher hochgeladen und gehen nicht verloren.
Allerdings sollte dabei beachtet werden, dass OneDrive ein Limit von 5 Gigabyte kostenlosen Speicher aufweist.
Die jeweiligen Einstellungen können die Nutzer in der Aufnahmen-App vornehmen.
Die alte Regeln gilt nicht mehr
- Bislang standen den Nutzern rund 10 Gigabyte an Speicherplatz im Xbox-Netzwerk für ihre Aufnahmen zur Verfügung.
Diese wurden unbegrenzt gespeichert, sobald die Medien mindestens einmal manuell aufgerufen wurden.
Dabei konnten die benötigten Aufrufe auch von den Spielern selbst stammen.
Diese Regelung wird jedoch nun ab dem 1. Oktober 2023 nicht mehr gelten.

Thumbstick calibration for Wireless Elite Controller

- Mit den neu gestalteten Game Pass Quests könnt ihr mehr Punkte sammeln, indem ihr eure Lieblingstitel spielt und neue entdeckt.
Quests bieten tägliche, wöchentliche und monatliche Möglichkeiten, eure Belohnungen zu erhöhen. Außerdem wird einen Fan-Favorite zurückgebracht: die wöchentlichen Streaks!
- Tägliches Spiel – Verdient 10 Punkte pro Tag, indem ihr ein beliebiges Spiel aus dem Game Pass-Katalog mindestens 15 Minuten lang spielt.
- Wöchentliche Streams – Spielt mindestens fünf Tage pro Woche, um euren Streak abzuschließen. Je mehr Tage ihr spielt, desto mehr Punkte erhaltet ihr.
- Jetzt kommt die Herausforderung: Haltet eure Serie Woche für Woche aufrecht, um größere Punktemultiplikatoren freizuschalten.
Für eine zweiwöchige Serie gibt es 2x die Basispunkte, für eine dreiwöchige Serie 3x die Basispunkte und für alles, was über eine vierwöchige Serie hinausgeht, gibt es 4x die Basispunkte.
- Monatliches 4er-Pack – Erkundet den Game Pass-Katalog, indem ihr jeden Monat vier verschiedene Spiele (jeweils mindestens 15 Minuten lang) spielt.

externe HDD Support nun über 16 TB
- Wir aktivieren die Unterstützung für externe USB-Laufwerke, die größer als 16 TB sind, so dass ihr sicher sein könnt, dass eure Lieblingsspiele immer spielbereit sind!
Neu formatierte Laufwerke, die größer als 16 TB sind, werden mit mehreren Partitionen formatiert, um den gesamten verfügbaren Speicherplatz für Spiele und Anwendungen zu nutzen.
Diese werden als mehrere Geräte in der Liste der Speichergeräte angezeig
INFO: Der Support weist dazu darauf hin, dass bereits formatierte Datenträger mit einem Speicher von mehr als 16 TB erneut formatiert werden müssen, um unterstützt zu werden.

- Users will be able to enable a Microsoft Edge feature to reduce webpage size by blocking embedded content that negatively impacts performance while browsing.
Experience Changes
- System / Erstinstallation: A new QR code has been added to the first page when setting up your console, so you easily download the Xbox mobile app if you don't already have it.
- When a game closes unexpectedly, the system may now prompt the user and let them know a crash log is being collected. The collection can be cancelled at any time. If it completes, it will be shown in Queue as it is uploaded.

Neues Abo: Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
- Nutzer sollten sich auch im Klaren sein, dass man erst nach der nächsten Verlängerung zu einem anderen Game Pass-Abo wechseln kann, wenn man der primäre Besitzer ist. Eingeladene Personen können den Plan jederzeit verlassen.
- Ebenfalls wichtig ist der Punkt, dass man nur Personen in Friends & Family einladen bzw. es freigaben darf, die im eigenen Land leben.
Es gilt also nicht weltweit und das Land muss mit dem des Kontoinhabers übereinstimmen.
- Weiterhin können keine Codes für Game Pass-, Gold- oder EA Play-Abonnements eingelöst werden, wenn man im Friends & Family-Plan mit drin ist.
- Abgerechnet wird die Mitgliedschaft übrigens nur über den primären Kontoinhaber. Es wird also keine Aufteilung an die Gruppe erfolgen.
Nutzer sollten zudem folgende Freigabeeinschränkungen beachten:
- Sie können jeweils nur Mitglied einer Gruppe sein.
- Als primärer Kontoinhaber können Sie bis zu vier Personen gleichzeitig mit maximal acht Personen pro Jahr einladen, die akzeptieren, ihrem Konto beizutreten.
- Ihre Gruppenmitglieder können einer Gruppe nur bis zu zwei Mal pro Jahr beitreten. Dies schließt das Verlassen und erneute Beitreten der selben Gruppe ein.
- Nur der primäre Kontoinhaber kann seine Game Pass-Vorteile durch Freigabe der Heimkonsole freigeben.
Gruppenmitglieder können auf ihrer Konsole keine Freigabe für andere Konten durchführen.
